back in toronto

Uh. Um. We've been back home for a few days now... Well, I guess I should admit it to myself that it's getting close to a few weeks... But returning home has meant not only lots of toys for the kids, but also LOTS and LOTS and LOTS of work for me. I'm trying to juggle between studio work and taking care of Stella and Kaspar and weeding a yard and washing dishes and making breakfasts, lunches and dinners and washing laundry and floors and lamps and visiting friends and family and so on... and so on...

Kaspar was thrilled to return back home, where all the usual suspects of toys were all of a sudden like a brand new discovery. Talking to his dad in English was also a little bit of a challenge for the first few days.Stella was a little perplexed about the time change again, but was back on track in two days. I was swarmed instantly with orders and work for both galleries as well as individuals and upcoming shows. And the house needed to be readjusted from "a bachelor's flat" back to "a family dwelling". The yard that had seen so much rain that not only the plants and trees had grown and overgrown their flowerbeds, but also a swarm of weeds had overtaken some of the emptier patches of earth and grown high enough to tickle my armpits. So, needless to say, blogging has not been my priority.
