disappearing act

Sorry for the long disappearance! Our last three weeks in Latvia were overrun by family gatherings, weddings, trips of all sorts and sizes, spectacular summer weather, lack of internet connections … and to be totally honest … keeping up with this blog and emails became such a ‘job’ that I figured – I don’t need a job during my holiday! So, I disappeared, only to return to a mail box full of 68 emails (thank god, gmail sorts out junk mail, because the junk mail folder had 348 emails in it) and a whole lot of angry messages about not keeping my blog going. My appologies…

We’ve been back for two days. Back in Toronto. Back at home. Back in the swing of things. I’m still processing the last few weeks of our trip and the whole ‘returning to our regular life’ thing. Kaspar is going through some heavy jet lag, I think. His lack of sleep during the night and long naps during the day are sort of forcing me into an odd schedule myself.
